FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking Performance Analysts to work for our global Systems Integrator client. This is initially a 6-month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a hybrid role based in one of the various office locations in the UK including Leeds, Manchester, London, Telford and Worthing. 

We are seeking a number of Performance Analysts to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering high quality interaction design and performance analysis for a large end customer. Working closely with Senior Project/Programme Delivery Leadership and other Subject Matter Experts, you will help drive quality standards/outputs across one or multiple Programme Delivery areas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to/lead specific initiatives within significant programmes of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a recognised Subject Matter Expert in Performance Analysis, providing authoritative advice, analysis, and guidance that influences teams and delivery across the organisation.
  • Define, implement, and validate performance measurement frameworks, ensuring meaningful, high‑quality insight supports service and product decision‑making.
  • Analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate and optimise end‑to‑end user journeys across online and offline channels.
  • Proactively document insights, improvements, and analysis outcomes, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Think strategically about how services and journeys connect across channels and organisational boundaries, informing product direction and prioritisation.
  • Influence stakeholders using evidence‑based analysis, confidently leading workshops and collaborative sessions with product, design, and delivery teams.
  • Improve analytical capability by sharing best practice, coaching others, and defining tools, templates, and ways of working that increase team effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to remove delivery barriers, mitigate risk, and identify gaps in analysis strategies or processes, proposing practical solutions.

  • Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, including validating and assuring data sources.
  • Proven ability to apply evidence‑ and context‑based analysis with a strong user focus to inform service or product decisions.
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders, communicating insights clearly and effectively.
  • Solid understanding of the project lifecycle and experience working in agile delivery environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with awareness of accessibility, security, and data governance considerations.
Preferred:
 
  • Experience using analytical and experimentation tools such as SQL, GA4, BigQuery, Optimisely, or DeskPRO.
  • Experience working in the public sector, including understanding of the Service Standard.
  • Familiarity with the GOV.UK Design System, GOV.UK Prototyping Kit, and experience supporting or acting as a Service Assessor.
